Forum registration

When you register for the Europa Forum or other events, we collect your name, email address, mailing address, information about your Leo or Lions membership, and, if necessary, other data that is important for organizing the event, such as dietary preferences or allergies. We may collect passport information where required by law. We store and process the collected data exclusively for the proper handling of the registration and event management. The collection and processing of your data is carried out for the purpose of contract fulfillment or based on your consent where applicable. If your district appoints a delegation leader, we may share your name, email address, phone number and registration status with them.

Personal data that we receive when you register for an event is deleted after 24 months, unless there is a legitimate interest that prevents its deletion. If data is subject to statutory retention periods, we will delete it after these periods have expired.

  • Correction of inaccurate personal data (Art. 16 GDPR),

  • Restriction of data processing, provided that we are not yet permitted to delete your data due to legal obligations (Art. 18 GDPR),
  • Objection to the processing of your data by us (Art. 21 GDPR), and
  • Data portability, provided that you have consented to the data processing or have entered into a contract with us (Art. 20 GDPR).
